The Goodie Box
Everyday, thousands of children in New Zealand go without essentials. In the only charity team-building program of its kind, The Goodie Box gives socially responsible organisations the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children doing it tough.
Teams won’t know the outcome at the start, but they’ll be challenged to work together to earn items (such as food, toys, colouring pencils, and books). This fun and engaging program brings those items to life in a collaborative, high-energy setting.
The heartwarming twist? The group will donate a big box of items to a charity that supports kids in need.

Alene’s professionalism, enthusiasm and ability to engage everyone made the session not only enjoyable but also highly impactful. The activities were creative, well-structured and tailored to foster collaboration and innovative thinking within the team. This was the first time I had engaged Corporate Challenge Events and it exceeded my expections. From my first enquiry email, to Tim coming to our office to plan the event, to the actual event itself all was easy and smooth. There as a ‘no problem’ attitude. Tim was energetic and connected straight away with my team members. This really made the day. My team were all engaged and actively participating.
I couldn’t of asked for a better experience. I still had team members laughing and talking about the day the following week.

How Play Turns into Purpose
Mission
Partnering with a local charity, this program gives socially responsible organisations the chance to brighten the lives of Kids doing it tough, while creating an engaging, fun, and meaningful team experience.
Challenge-Based Play
Teams dive into a series of hands-on activities designed to spark critical and lateral thinking. Each challenge teams complete earns a real-life item, food, toys, books; bringing these “goodies” to life in a tangible way. The tasks aren’t just puzzles; they mirror the items kids use and need in their lives through problem-solving. By the end, every item tells a story, and every challenge completed means another piece of support for a kid in need.
The twist
As the true purpose behind each item is revealed, the atmosphere shifts from lighthearted competition to genuine connection. Participants hear directly from the charity, understand how their efforts will help, and write heartfelt notes to accompany their Box of Goodies for children in need.
Making it Personal
The Goodie Box blends teamwork, creativity, and awareness-raising in one memorable event. Items donated are tailored to the chosen charity and may include food, hygiene essentials, toys, books, or even pet supplies.
